Updates for Alberta
Alberta Public Spring COVID-19 Vaccinations are available while supplies last
Appointments may be booked online through the London Drugs booking system or by calling or visiting the pharmacy if you need help booking your appointment.
**Walk-in requests may be accommodated subject to availability.
The following groups are eligible to receive a spring COVID-19 vaccine dose:
Adults 65 years and older
First Nations, Metis, and Inuit individuals 6 months and older, regardless of where they live
Adults 18 years and older who are residents of continuing care homes and senior supportive living accommodations.
Ages 6 months and older with certain immunocompromising conditions
Ages 6 months and older who did not receive a COVID-19 vaccine after October 1, 2024
Ages 5 years and older can receive their dose at a pharmacy
Ages 6 months to 4 years can receive their dose at Alberta Health Services Public Health
All other Albertans who received a dose on or after October 1, 2024 and are not listed above, are not currently eligible for a biannual dose.
It is recommended that the COVID-19 vaccine be delayed for three months for individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 (PCR or rapid antigen test)

Non-mRNA vaccines including Novavax are not currently available in Alberta
To receive a COVID-19 vaccine at the pharmacy you must be:
A resident of Alberta with a valid
5 years of age and older
Minors under 18 years of age require written or verbal consent from a parent or guardian.
