Carry a sufficient supply of your prescription medications for your entire trip plus extra if your return home is delayed. Keep these in your carry-on bag in case your main luggage is lost in transit.
Carry a list of your medications with you (image on your phone and printed) in case you lose or misplace your medications during your trip.
Be sure to share your itinerary and contact information with friends or relatives. This way they can contact you if there's an emergency back home.
