Book Vaccination Appointment

Updates for British Columbia – April 8, 2024

The BC public COVID-19 Spring Campaign is now underway until June 30, 2024. See below for eligibility requirements.

COVID-19 vaccine appointment invitations started going out to priority groups on April 8, 2024 and will continue rolling out over the next couple of weeks. Watch your text/email/phone for your invitation to book an appointment. Drop-in appointments may also be available.

Appointments may be booked online through a Get Vaccinated Booking System invitation or by calling 1-833-838-2323. 7 days per week. 7am-7pm except statutory holidays open 9am-5pm.

COVID-19 Vaccine Formulations (based on availability)

  • Moderna Spikevax XBB.1.5

  • Pfizer Comirnaty XBB.1.5

  • Novavax XBB.1.5 (call 1-833-838-2323 to book an appointment)

Effective April 8 to June 30, 2024, the following individuals are eligible to receive an additional XBB.1.5 COVID-19 vaccine dose given six months or more from their last COVID-19 XBB.1.5 dose:

  • Adults 65 years and older

  • Indigenous adults 55 years and older

  • Adult residents of long-term care homes and assisted-living facilities (including those awaiting placement)

  • Individuals with who have been diagnosed as clinically extremely vulnerable (a CEV 1 or CEV 2 condition)

  • Anyone who did not receive an updated COVID-19 vaccine (XBB.1.5) from October 2023 to March 2024.

BC’s COVID-19 spring program is focused on providing vaccines to those most at risk of severe COVID-19 illness or complications, and people who have not yet received an updated vaccine dose. However, anyone who feels they would benefit from an additional dose of XBB.1.5 COVID-19 vaccine can contact the Public Health COVID-19 Call Centre at 1-833-838-2323 to book an appointment or can request a walk-in appointment at the pharmacy (where available)

BC residents 12 years of age or older who have never received an XBB.1.5 COVID-19 vaccine are also eligible to contact the pharmacy for vaccination.

To receive a COVID-19 vaccine at the pharmacy you must be:

  • A resident of BC with a valid BC Services Card.

  • 12 years of age and older

  • Visitors to BC may also be eligible to receive a free Covid vaccine. Call 1-833-838-2323 for information and booking assistance.
